Doi Inthanon: Hike & See Sunrise on the Highest Spot

Our guide was one of the nicest people we have ever met, she was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. We drove to see the sunrise (and she was an excellent driver) and then hiked around the mountain with a local guide who taught us about the forest and local people. The hike takes about 2 hours and the views and scenery are incredible. We then visited the twin pagodas and our guide explained the history and iconography of them to us. We had asked her if it was possible to go on a longer hike and so she arranged for us to walk to the neighbouring village through the forest (and we saw a few snakes and a gibbon), and then had lunch in the village. Could not recommend this tour enough - everything was so well organised and thought out, and our guide was genuinely one of the sweetest people we have ever met.
