With the announcement of the Michelin Guide Thailand launch earlier in 2017, Thailand's gastronomic scene has since been cooking and sizzling. Finally, the wait is over. Michelin Guide Bangkok, the first edition of Michelin Guide Thailand, was served on December 6, 2017!

The first in the Michelin Guide Thailand series, Michelin Guide Bangkok 2018 will consist of 17 restaurants guaranteed by Michelin Guide Thailand inspectors' expert taste buds. These mystery men and women have traveled all over Bangkok in search of the stars, visiting the potential restaurants over and over to ensure consistency of culinary quality.

Michelin Guide is purely about quality. Fine dining restaurants and street food stalls alike are qualified for this prestigious inspection, but reaching for the stars is no easy feat. Michelin Stars are bestowed upon the best of the best only. To put it in Michelin Guide team's own words: “those for which customers are willing to travel great distances to enjoy an exceptional dining experience”.

Now it's time to reveal Bangkok restaurants that have made history as part of Michelin Guide Thailand 2018. TakeMeTour is excited to tell you that not only fine dining restaurants but also local eateries have been awarded the stars in Michelin Guide Bangkok 2018. A testament to Thailand's reputation as a foodie paradise for all tastes. It's going to be a fulfilling journey for not only your stomach but also your heart and soul.

A Pad Thai restaurant is also awarded Michelin Star
